American Open Martial Arts, LLC. (A.K.A. 'AOMA') is a national
network for martial sport organizations, event administrators,
school owners and athletes who participate in martial arts throughout the
United States. AOMA has member schools that
teach Karate,
Taekwondo, Hapkido, Jui Jitsu, Krav Maga, Kung Fu and other
styles of martial arts.
Our mission is to bring increased
value and benefits to our members by providing, as a benefits of
membership, affordable
'accident and liability' insurance while promoting quality
competitions at the local and national level. We seek to
work with other organizations to bring them the benefits
of our 'accident and liability' insurance program and to develop synergies
that will bring more value to all of our
members.
AOMA Club
Membership includes FREE 'liability' insurance
'Liability' Insurance is a must for school/studio
owners or event operators. Martial Arts clubs that wish to
take advantage of AOMA Club 'liability' insurance benefits ($3,000,000
general aggregate liability, $1,000,000 professional liability, sexual
abuse liability, 24/7 premise liability, etc.), simply
enroll all their students as members of AOMA. As long as everyone participating at practices
in your school/studios is a member of AOMA, then the 'liability'
insurance is in effect at your school.

Liability Insurance Coverage

insurance' to landlords and tournament event facilities.
Why should
Schools/Studios join AOMA, American Open Martial Arts?
WIN/WIN/WIN
When schools/studios have all their members join AOMA, the
student WINS because they have
'accident' insurance at their school practices, at AOMA events
and at other similar organized competitions.
The club WINS because they have free 'liability'
insurance and receive a rebate for each member when
all their members join. Organizations can WIN by
using the
AOMA 'insurance' umbrella to bring more value to their own
organization memberships.
Individual
AOMA membership includes an 'accident' insurance benefit
AOMA Membership is required of all Athletes, Coaches, Officials
and Volunteers that participate in AOMA sanctioned events.
If you did not join AOMA through your school (a school that
requires all their students to join so that the school can enjoy
all the benefits of membership, including 'liability
insurance'), but would like to participate in AOMA sanctioned
events, you can now register online. That AOMA 'Individual
Membership' offers 'accident insurance' benefits ($100,000/$250
deductable) during all AOMA sanctioned events. Membership
is available online for $14 (all ages). Click the
'Individual Membership' tab on the left for details.

help to ensure a more positive competition experience for both the
athletes and the spectators. Officials and coaches must be certified by
AOMA each year to participate at any AOMA hosted event. Coaches and
Officials will go online at the AOMA website and complete a free online
informational course. Upon completion of the respective courses coaches
and officials may participate in AOMA events. Officials will have
additional training at each AOMA sanctioned event. Additionally,
Officials that attend the AOMA Nationals will participate in a more
extensive Officials training course to help insure that AOMA events are
being conducted by well trained officials. A list of certified
Coaches and Officials will be made available to event operators so that
they will know
who is authorized to participate as coaches or officials.
