  Club/School Membership

AOMA Club Membership is a Win/Win for the School and the Students.  Students sign up to be a member of AOMA at the school for $14 per year. As one of the benefits the student receives 'accident' insurance ($100,000/$250 deductable) at all scheduled school practices, AOMA sanctioned events and is portable to all organized Karate/Taekwondo tournaments .  If a school owner has all their students join AOMA, the school receives FREE 'liability' insurance ($3,000,000 general aggregate liability, sexual abuse liability, 24/7 premise coverage, etc) and a rebate based on number of students enrolled.  That is a win/win.

If a school needs more coverage than what is offered with AOMA Club Membership,
The Foy Insurance Group is also available to school owners that seek insurance to
cover buildings and content, loss of earnings, professional liability, workman's-comp, auto, etc.
The Foy Insurance Group can help you with all lines of insurance.

Please read the following carefully to insure that you register properly.
Individuals that are members of a school that requires all their students to join AOMA,
must register through their school and not online on this website.

Individuals wanting to be an AOMA member (so that they can participate in AOMA events) but are not joining AOMA through their martial arts school should join online as described on the 'Individual Membership' page. Click the tab on the left.

If you have questions on the registration process, please call 770-846-2009.
We will be glad to assist you so that your club and your students can
enjoy the benefits of AOMA Membership.

Club/School Membership

  • Needed if a school desires to have the great benefit of 'accident/liability' insurance at their school.
  • Club Membership allows for registration of athletes, authorization to conduct sanctioned competitions, discount on products from Macho, and other specified benefits as they develop..
  • Club Membership in AOMA is good from the date of enrollment for a full fiscal year.
Renewal dates for individuals joining through a club will run concurrent to the clubs renewal date, regardless of the individuals enrollment date.
  • Clubs may request Third Party Certificates for additional locations at the time of enrollment and annual re-enrollment for no additional charge.  However, after the initial enrollment, additional request for Third Party Certificates will be $25 per certificate.  Everyone at the additional location(s) must be AOMA members in order for the accident/liability insurance to be in affect at that location.
  • In May of 2011 AOMA joined the NCYS.  We joined in order to have access to a great source of information on sports in general aggregate, but also for the tools that NCYS makes available to its members.  One of those tools is 'background checks'.  The NCYS has secured one of the most respected background research companies in the sporting industry.  Clubs that conduct background checks on all Instructors and Staff that are 18 years and over (you may use your own source for background checks) and that have policies and procedures in place to prevent the opportunity for sexual abuse, will receive additional liability insurance benefits offered by AOMA.  But more importantly background checks and a proactive approach to protecting students will help create an environment where the opportunity for sexual abuse will not exist.  We hope that this added requirement for club membership, will help further the good reputations of AOMA clubs within their own communities.  Working with organizations like the NCYS,  will help AOMA in its mission to bring great benefits to its members.  In order to receive the Sexual Abuse Liability Coverage included with your AOMA Club membership, complete page 3 of the membership application.
  • For AOMA Members that joined through an AOMA Club, please contact your AOMA Club for a copy of your AOMA Membership Card.  The automatic reprint function found on the 'Individual Membership' page is only for 'Individual Members' that registered from this website.
  • School owners should contact us about the rebate available to schools that enroll all their students and other benefits available to AOMA Clubs.
